Like Every Mother

Like every mother, I watched my children closely.
I noticed how they slept.
How they nursed.
How they rolled.
How they cried and laughed and smiled.
Sometimes things were “just a phase” and sometimes they were not.
That is why our book: It’s All in the Head feels so personal to me.
Over years, Marty and I have worked with thousands of families. We have seen how often subtle signs are dismissed because they are common. But common is not the same as normal. As a mother, that distinction matters.
Parents don’t need more fear. They need more understanding.
Our book is meant to guide you. To help you trust your observations. To help you know when you seek support and to remind you that early attention can make a profound difference.
Because when we understand our children better, we support them better.
And that begins with noticing the small things.
