Banff
The Canadian Rockies are so magnificent, and one of the great places within them is Banff.

The town itself sits within Banff National Park, with the mountains rising all around it, creating a backdrop that feels almost unreal. Walking through the streets, we are never separate from the landscape, the peaks are always present, shaping the experience no matter where you stand.
This is another area we have explored on the tail end of teaching in Alberta.
What makes Banff so memorable is the way the town and the mountains exist together. There is a sense of scale that is constant. The air feels different, the light shifts across the peaks and the environment draws your attention outward.
Banff is a place where the landscape defines everything around it.
